Movies, music, festivals, and theatre in the park! Movies start at sunset and music and theatre start at 7pm. Stay tuned for the August/September calendar of events, coming soon.
Save the date! Next Thursday is Art Night (5:30-8:30) followed by Roman Holiday at dusk in the park. Follow Art Night on Facebook for all the latest details about trolley tours, featured artists, and special events.
…right here in the park, for free, this Thursday 7/17. (We’re beside ourselves with excitement). They’ll be playing some songs by Brown Bird as well as original tunes; the show starts at 7pm, feel free to get here early to stroll around Warren, grab a bite to eat, and get some front-and-center seating in the park.
Refreshments (‘Gansett! Del’s!) will be available for purchase with all proceeds benefiting the Hometown Revival Project. We’ll also have a limited run of signed copies of the show poster, designed by Hometown Revival Project founder Adam Tracy. Check it:
We’ve also got a few new sponsors to thank: our friends at DISH, a rad women’s clothing/shoe/and jewelry boutique here in Warren carrying lots of eco-conscious, independent designers, and made in USA goods. More coming soon!
Thank you to everyone who came out to Raiders of the Lost Ark, our first movie in the park of 2014! Despite unseasonably chilly temperatures and a seriously bright sky that delayed the start of the movie until nearly 9pm, a lovely time was had by all. Save the date for this Thursday, July 10 for THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL beginning at dusk!
Also, a BIG giant thank you to two of our new sponsors, William Ravies Real Estate and Blount Clam Shack! These local businesses always lend a hand and we’re so excited to have them on board.
William Raveis will be sponsoring the What Cheer? Brigade here in Warren on August 14th–do NOT miss this! The crazy awesome Providence based band features Warren’s own Will Schaff and lots of other talented individuals, in what may be perhaps their first-ever Warren performance (am I right?). Thank you to the whole crew at William Raveis!
And Blount… could there be a better place to pre-game a music or movie night? Enjoy a cold ‘Gansett (another season sponsor, nudge nudge) and a beautiful view while feasting on their signature clam cakes or lobster rolls, and then head to the park. Perfect.
Thank you for supporting the local businesses that make Music & Movies in the Park possible!
And see you Thursday…
— The Hometown Revival Crew

Please note our schedule and plans are tentative pending the Town Council meeting on June 10th. Stay tuned!
Hi folks! After great meetings with the Recreation Department, Department of Public Works, and the Police Department, we’re ready to ask official permission to launch the first year of Music & Movies in the Park.
Pending Council approval (the meeting is June 10th, should anyone wish to come and lend their support), we’ll be hosting a series of 6-8 movie and music nights on Thursdays this summer. We’re still nailing down our official schedule, but expect a few nights of music from several different genres, and lots of fun movies including classics, new releases, and cult favorites.
In an attempt to cover our costs and still keep the events free to the public, we’ll be asking the Town Council permission to let the Hometown Revival Project sell beer and wine and host a few snack vendors. Each music or movie night will start strategically around sundown, giving folks from out of town the opportunity to come to Warren early and stroll around, grab a bite or a drink at one of our great eateries, and discover new shops, artists, and everything else Warren has to offer.
We hope these nights are a great way to bring neighbors together, raise some money for the park and other public spaces, and bring in some new folks to discover Warren for the first time.
Again, these plans are still tentative pending approval from the Town Council! If you’d like to lend your support in the meantime, consider donating to Hometown Revival Project (a 501(c)3 nonprofit), joining our group of volunteers, or sponsoring the program!
